Founded in 1989, Ralco Electrical supplied bespoke electrical services to industrial,commercial and educational clients specialising in new-build, refurbishment and maintenance projects. Building a reputation for excellence, the company was strengthened in 1996 with the acquisition of McNeill Electrical which had a long standing track record in the education sector.
By 1998 Ralco McNeill Electrical and Data Networking services positioned itself as a multi-discipline solution provider and had established itself as one of the UK’s leading companies in its areas of expertise, expanding its remit to offer additional services in data and computer networking, audio-visual, digital signage and voice over IP telephone systems (VOIP).
Recognising a need for schools to have a single point of contact they could trust to service a multitude of different scenarios, additional supporting services such as strategic planning, research and development of latest products and strategic partnership building with suppliers were added to enhance the service.
In November 2009 Ralco Solutions was launched to provide a layer of consultancy that is often missed in these areas of expertise. It offers a single point of contact and front of house to the multi-disciplinary services the company is reknowned for, ensuring that the UKs schools, businesses and other organisations have an easy way to solve often complex and difficult problems.
